Property Tax Payment Center

Walton County taxpayers can pay their ad-valorem property tax bills online with a credit card (Discover, MasterCard, or American Express) or with an electronic check. A 2.5% convenience fee (Minimum $2 fee) for credit/debit cards or flat $1.50 fee for E-check payments are incurred on online payments. Due to VISA regulations, our office can only accept VISA debit or credit cards for tax payments. Click here to view the media release regarding VISA cards.  

Please have your property tax account number from your tax bill.

To pay by check, you will also need the following: 

  • ABA or bank routing number from the bottom of your check
  • Checking account number
  • A check number

    To renew your registration online, simply click on the Motor Vehicle & Vessel Registration Renewal Link Under the Payment Center Tab.    		 Don't Empty Your Bank Account All At Once

    Pay your property taxes in four quarterly installments rather than one lump sum payment. To enroll in the program for 2010, please submit a completed Property Tax Installment Plan Application by April 30. Download an application under the Property Tab on the Forms Menu.
